I just tried to buy some more sets from Yoyo.com with their 20% off deal. Turns out they have a distribution center very close to me and my order at 11:45pm Monday night arrived by 6pm Tuesday evening. That’s crazy and also a great resource to have at my disposal. Anyway, I tried to buy 3 Imperial Star Destroyers at $5 off each plus 20% off the total. The discount wouldn’t apply so I called customer service. What I hadn’t read was that it is a maximum of $50 off in discount during the run of the sale. So I saved ~$38 on my Mos Eisley Cantinas on Monday night so I can only save ~$12 more from 20% off which would mean I would have to buy 3 sets at around $20 each to get the maximum remaining discount. This also means that buying the ISDs in the first place wouldn’t get you the full $75 discount that is 20% off. It was a pretty awesome sale though. To maximize the discount if you haven’t used the sale yet, you would have to buy 3 sets at no more than $83 each to get as close to $50 off as possible. It’s a shame that some of their products net a higher discount than they will allow.
