Tonight I scored 150 Series 12 CMFs at Toys R Us. I price matched them to $2.99 with both my Target and my Walmart receipt. I also split it into groups of 26 packs so I got 5 Bricktober sets total. What I am going to do with those, I’m not sure. I’ll list them and see what happens.
I recommend you try this tomorrow to group 10% off on Thursdays, $1 off each with price match, and the bricktober sets.
After I went to TRU, I went to Target. They had 43 packs on the shelf for $2.99. I bought them and asked if there were any more. Well, I can now say that Target has been added to the list of “stores that don’t want my money.” They had nearly 300 packs in the store but they would not sell me more than 75. I was with 5 other people here in Cincinnati for Brick Fest Live and they also stated that it was 75 packs per group. The situation quickly escalated to a manager who did not want to deprive other customers of an item. I understand the argument, but I don’t understand refusing a sale. It’s a tough situation. I did my best to spurn her by only purchasing the 43 and not my limit of 75. I don’t think it was too effective and she really couldn’t lose in this situation. Funny, they seem to have to issues with us swooping the polybags after they get clearanced.
