Your Buying Strategy of the Day: Friday September 26th, 2014

I really don’t understand how Kmart handles their sale prices online. Most of the time the entire LEGO set catalog is a certain percentage off, the majority of the sets being marked up before being marked down. Other times you will log on to find ZERO sets on any sort of sale. Aside from when everything is at MSRP (which never lasts more than a few hours), most sets that are on a particular sale stay that way, never changing. Let’s just say that Kmart is better shopped in-store than online. AT THE MOMENT, they have exactly 1 set on sale. Who knows when it will change, probably by the time I finish writing this. That one set however, is a good deal.

70130 Sparratus’ Spider Stalker is $19.99 from $24.99, limit 5.
Amazon doesn’t even have a matched price for this set yet. Pretty cool.
Part out value is $49.99 or 2.50x.
