That coupon yesterday worked. I’ve been calling it the “Perfect Storm of Coupons.” In the mail yesterday I got $60 in TRU bucks. I get these vouchers monthly based on how much I spend. This might be the most I’ve gotten at one time. They come in $5, $10, & $25 increments. You can’t use two of the same increment together online, but you can use 1 of each increment on the same online purchase. In store however, you can lay down the whole stack at once. So I had 6 $10 vouchers, the 20% off transaction coupon (which they had to key in rather than scan), the 10% off because it was Thursday, and then I had a couple of $5 off $25 coupons which they got to work. Now, I think I shot myself in the foot a bit because some of the coupons lessened the savings of the other coupons, but I cleaned it all out and got the remaining Movie sets that I needed for part out.
I was able to find the new TMNT Movie sets on the shelf at one of my local TRU locations. They don’t appear to be marked up yet, but they are $40, $70, & $100 so there is no entry level set. This could be a real dud if the movie tanks. They don’t have part out values, so only get them if you are willing to wait and speculate. They are certainly fig-heavy though.
