Your Buying Strategy of the Day: Thursday May 22nd, 2014

Every Thursday through the end of July, Toys R Us ‘R’Us Credit Card’ holders get 10% off their total in-store purchase. It’s not terribly exciting, but the way I see it, we may never see the new wave of Movie sets go on sale since the first wave did so well. Getting them early for 10% off is better than getting them later at full price or 5% off at Target.

I’ll be sweeping the shelf today of all Dropships, Construct-o-Mechs, and Spaceships. If they go on a better sale later, then I’ll just get more! One thing I read in the fine print is that you have to mention the 10% off discount upon checkout. I guess they don’t like giving away money.

Other possibilities include the X-Men set if you can find it, the Arctic sets, and even the Ultra Agents, just so long as they are not yet marked up.
