Your Buying Strategy of the Day: Sunday April 6th, 2014

Toys R Us has followed up their 20%-25% off absurdly-priced items with a few pretty pointless, targeted markdowns. Various sets are on sale for prices that are less than thrilling. The one set I see on sale which has a good part out value is:

70707 CLS-89 Eradicator Mech

The limit is 4 at press time, but they also haven’t changed the price over yet. Several bigger sets are 30% off of TRU prices, this one included. That brings the set to $31.49 from $39.99 MSRP. Part out is $66.08 or 2.10x.

The weekly ad tipped me off about their current sales, but as usual, the site hasn’t changed yet at *checks watch* 1:20AM.

Target is even worse. They haven’t switched the weekly ad over so I won’t know what’s on sale until I wake up. If it is something good, I’ll let you know about it in tomorrow’s deal. The TMNT bundle still appears active. I highly recommend that. Your window of opportunity is wide open for that one and the part out value isn’t too bad either.
