Your Buying Strategy of the Day: Saturday February 15th, 2014

First thing’s first. Go to a Target and check the Valentine’s Day section in the back corner. They should have 30225 Seaplane for I’m guessing $1.74 each. It will definitely be on sale, but the fact that they’ve had it for $0.53 off for the past week is a factor we haven’t seen before. Check it out, as long as they have some in stock, it will be good for everyone.

Now TRU is still running their $15 off of $50 sale online and in-store. Here is a list of sets you can purchase online which are meet the following criteria: ship-to-home eligible, part out of more than 2x, & not available elsewhere for cheaper.

75014 Battle of Hoth would be $39.99 with discount.
Part out value is $85.23 or 2.13x.

70008 Gorzan’s Gorilla Striker would be $39.99 with discount.
Part out value is $101.10 or 2.53x.

Yup, the list stops there. Truly, TRU is the worst. Or perhaps, many other retailers are just selling the sets cheaper at the moment. Not sure is the discount stacks or not, but it probably doesn’t. You can also get smaller sets which total over $50 just so long as there is at least one set worth $15 or more for the discount to apply to.
