Your Buying Strategy of the Day: Tuesday December 31st, 2013

My apologies for this post being so late in the day. It’s not a time sensitive one though so get off my case. I also got some new subscribers today as I had hoped would happen. Welcome on board to the new subs. You’ll receive this in an email as soon as it posts on the blog. You won’t need to visit anymore unless you want a quick link to my store or my social media platforms. Thanks again.

Today and every day until they are gone, HomeGoods (also Marshall’s and perhaps TJ Maxx) will have some LEGO on clearance. They just got some Lone Ranger sets in stock and have swiftly marked them down. How far? I’m glad you asked. Though I have not seen it personally, it was reported to me that the Constitution Train Chase was $55. I found the Silver Mine Shootout for $39 at one HomeGoods and not-yet marked down at another HomeGoods. I’ll be following up on that one in case they match the $39 in the near future. All in all I got 1 Mine and 1 Duplo set. LEGO is 40%-45% off right now but there’s no telling what you’ll actually find. I found a bunch of Friends animal bags, but they were of no interest to me. What I spent most of the money on was the Brick and Head storage containers. I got some 2×2 brick storage containers, some 1×2 brick storage containers, and storage heads both large and small (not the sorting kind). I have no clue what I’m going to do with them, but I couldn’t pass them up at $8-$15 each.

There’s also this:

Alright, pick your jaw up off the floor. Thinking about going the Stack-On route? Well this is the best deal you will ever find. Sadly, the average final cost of my 106 Stack-On cabinets is $19. I wish I knew about this site sooner and that’s why I am telling you about it now. GET PARTING OUT!
